
AUDIO ENGINEER
& LIGHTING DESIGNER
Kyle McCluer is an audio engineer, lighting designer, and musician based in Kansas City, Missouri. A graduate of the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Phoenix, AZ, and always continuing his eduction through workshops and trade shows, Kyle has extensive knowledge on countless live sound and recording consoles, controllers, softwares, outboard gear, and more. Along with his extensive audio knowledge Kyle is also well trained and has many working hours behind several different lighting consoles. Kyle has mixed live performances for artists; Dave Grohl, Hailee Steinfeld, Iron & Wine, Maren Morris, Moby, Jeff Goldblum, Daya, Kascade, and countless others. Behind the lighting console, Kyle has performed lighting design duties for BØRNS, Lucinda Williams, Chad Smith’s Bombastic Meatbats, The Cult, and many more. As well as working with numerous artists, Kyle has brought his engineering talents to festivals and companies like Sony Music, Desert Daze Music Festival, Fender, William Morris Agency, VeVo, Swing House Studios, Sabian Cymbals, Long Beach New Years Festival and the Rock N Roll Marathon Series. Along with these companies, Kyle tours yearly with the national dance competition, Talent on Parade, acting as head of Audio and Lighting production. As a musician and Singer/Songwriter, Kyle has studied vocal performance at Berklee College of Music and jazz studies at Missouri State University. Kyle has performed live as a drummer for multiple musical theatre shows, with his full band, and solo/acoustic with his original music. When not behind a console or performing, Kyle enjoys traveling, photography, stand up comedy, spending time with friends, family, and his dog Ringo, fiddling with knobs and faders in his home studio, and awkwardly dancing at concerts.
